1956 Lincoln Premiere Two-Door Hardtop
It’s easy to see why the Premiere hardtop was able to win an award from the Industrial Designers Institute for excellence in automotive design. Outside of rear funder medallions and fancier wheel covers, it was difficult to tell the Premiere from the less costly Capri. Like all Ford Motor Coproducts in 1956, the Premiere had a lot of safety features. Improved door latches, deep-dish steering wheel, and heavily padded seatbacks and door panels. Power windows and four-way power front seat were standard.
Everywhere you look the car is aesthetically pleasing ….not just the award-winning design but also the overall condition of our 1956 Lincoln Premiere two-door hardtop. Restoration that’s been done to the nines. Rust free laser straight gorgeous black paint, two tone correct interior and drives as good as it looks. Power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seat, and riding on a set of Coker Classic wide white wall tires.
In addition to the cosmetic restoration, our premiere has undergone a mechanical refresh as well, including rebuilt cooling system with radiator, new water pump, new hoses and belts. The brakes have been rebuilt, the carburetor rebuilt as well, gas tank boiled out and coated, new shocks, new thermostat, master cylinder with brake booster, new seals, new battery, new fuel pump and more.
